Don’t you hate it when you sit down to polish your nails and the bottle is glued shut? So do I!
The cure? Vasoline petroleum jelly. Rub a little around the neck of your polish bottle where the top screws on.
If you have a lot of polish buildup, use pure acetone (available at Sally Beauty Supply) and dissolve the hardened polish on the neck. You also may want to rinse your polish brush in acetone so the polish doesn’t harden while you’re working.
Then use a Q-Tip cotton swab to rub a little petroleum jelly around the neck.
There you go…problem fixed… Although you may still need pliers to get the lid off in the first place!

Great Tip Ana. I’ve heard you can also use vaseline around skin and cuticle area for easy clean up..
Vaseline! Why didn’t I think of that? Great tip!
