Rainbow Rhinestones on Black Matte Polish Nail Art
I discovered this design on Pinterest and I’m still dying to try it myself. It’s a pretty simple design by Sun Dancer at SolensDanserinde.blogspot.com, obviously perfect for short nails and the line of rhinestones could be stretched out a bit on longer nails.
I’ve given you step-by-step instructions below the photo. They are based on how I would complete the design which may not necessarily be how Sun Dancer did it. The materials list is at the very bottom of this post. Have Fun! ~Ana
InstructionsSTEP 1: Basecoat – to protect your nails and create a surface that nail polish bonds to
STEP 2: 2 coats of your favorite black polish
STEP 3: 1 coat of a matte top coat
STEP 4: Using small dots of matte topcoat as glue, place your rainbow rhinestones in order
TIP: It looks to me like Sun Dancer actually did a matte topcoat over the stones. This kills the shimmer of the stones but does secure the manicure better. It’s up to you how to finish off your manicure.
