Green Leaf Ladybug Nail Art tutorial 1 e1337216773136 SIMPLE: Lovely Ladybug Nail Art TutorialSIMPLE TUTORIAL: LOVELY LADYBUG NAIL ART

Spring is here! I love ladybugs as much as the next girl, but I’m a woman now with 4 children. How do you do ladybugs with class? You get inspired by nature—ladybugs, leaves and dewdrops. And you know what? This is sooooo simple. A bit time consuming—yes—but still very simple. It just requires sponging and dots. Use the polishes that you own….something close. You’ll love it! Have Fun! ~Ana

My Inspiration

Ladybug nail art tutorial 7 SIMPLE: Lovely Ladybug Nail Art Tutorial Green Leaf Ladybug Nail Art tutorial SIMPLE: Lovely Ladybug Nail Art Tutorial STEP 1: Basecoat – to protect your nails and create a surface that nail polish bonds to STEP 2: 2 coats of your favorite lime green polish STEP 3: Mix 2 dark greens on a palette. Use a coarse sponge to sponge the mixed color on your nail STEP 4: Sponge golden lime green shimmer on nail STEP 5: With larger side of dotting tool, make one black polish dot STEP 6: With larger side of dotting tool, dot on a glittery red. Swirl it around with the tool to make your circle bigger. Make sure to cover up about half of the black dot with red polish STEP 7: Add 3 or 4 black polish dots. STEP 8: Dot clear polish where you want a rhinestone. Press rhinestone into polish.
STEP 9: Topcoat with a holographic topcoat – To seal in your design and give it a high gloss shine. Remember to topcoat the free edge and underside. This extends wear and reduces water absorption, which causes peeling and chipping
STEP 10: Clean up skin with acetone and brush. Moisturize with oil.
TIP: Use an orange stick to pick up your rhinestones. I lick the orange stick to help pick up the stone and place it in the wet top coat.

Look at all those holographic sparkles!

It just makes me happy!

Absolutely love this design. I’ve been looking for a ladybug tutorial for ages now. Will have to try it once Breast Cancer Awareness Month is over, when I can wear something other than pink on my nails again :D
